Hello everyone!

Starting today, we're opening up submissions for a plugin contest. The goal of this contest is to spur up some development and garner some interest in the project. We would also like to see what the community can come up with. Your goal as someone that plans to submit a plugin to this contest is to 'wow' the Sponge team.

Rules and Requirements

• Must be your own code.
• Must be a plugin for SpongeAPI.
• Must be a OSI-compliant license with a public-facing source repo.
• Must be in Java (cannot use Scala/Kotlin/other Java-based languages)
• Must be a new plugin, cannot be an existing plugin that has already established a userbase.
• The plugin must compile against the latest SpongeAPI as of December 21st 2015.
• Only one submission per person. If more than one submission is found by the same user then we will only use the last submission.
• You must be 17+ or have signed approval from your parent/guardian. (A photo ID must be provided if you are chosen as the winner to show proof of age)

Goals

• The plugin should be creative but also simple to use.
• The code should be easy to read.
• It should add something to the game or fulfill a common need.

Timeframe

• Entry Deadline: Dec. 22nd 2015 by 11:59PM UTC-6
• Review: Dec. 23rd 2015
• Winner Announcement: Dec. 24th 2015 (If the winner does not reply within 48 hours we will select another winner)
